Job Title: DZ Driver - Recycling and Garbage Truck Driver/Loader

Job Type: Temporary ongoing

Location: Smiths Falls , ON
Shift: Monday-Friday
Wage: $27.00/ hr

This role will involve operating waste and recycling vehicles and completing waste collection routes. This position requires a DZ license and is ideal for someone who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable lifting up to 50lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Operate waste and recycling vehicles (including rear pack and manual side loader trucks)
  • Collect and load curbside materials safely and efficiently
  • Complete routes on schedule while following safe driving and work practices
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and fill out required reports
  • Deliver professional and courteous service to residents and businesses
