Join the City of Dryden as a TERM Labourer in Public Works, focusing on varied manual work including planting, road repairs, and park maintenance.
As a TERM Labourer, your essential duties will support the Public Works Operations Manager for approximately four months. Your manual labour tasks will involve cleaning municipal properties, assisting in road construction, and maintaining cleanliness in parks. Physical fitness is necessary as tasks involve lifting and working with equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plant and maintain park and municipal properties
• Support road maintenance including pothole repairs
• Operate small tools for grounds care
• Perform various cleaning and shoveling activities
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
• High School Diploma is required
• Experience with lawn care and maintenance techniques
• Must hold a valid “G” driver's license
