Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs setup procedures for product changeover, changing out tooling and reconfiguring equipment as needed.Monitors all stations in Drum Line, supporting minor maintenance as needed.Regularly communicates with operators, reporting major problems to supervisor.Ensures operator time is used efficiently.Checks work completion and ensures operations are carried out correctly.Examines parts for defects using micrometers and other gauging equipment.Interprets setup sheets for lathes and drill stations on a per-job basis and inputs variables into computer.Fills out maintenance work orders when needed.Verifies accuracy of product tickets.Ensures conforming and non-conforming product is properly identified, accounted for, and delegated at the end of shift.Provides on-the-job training for operators.
