Drone Ground Operator (Agricultural Spray Operations) Position Summary

The Drone Ground Operator supports agricultural drone spraying operations by preparing, refilling and maintaining the drone between flights. This role is responsible for chemical handling, battery management and ensuring efficient, safe field operations.

Key Responsibilities - Flight Support

• Assist the Remote Pilot during agricultural spraying operations
• Refill spray tanks with approved chemicals according to mix instructions
• Monitor spray levels and prepare refills in advance
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight equipment checks

Battery Management

• Remove and replace drone batteries between flights
• Operate battery charging stations safely
• Monitor battery health, temperature, and charge cycles
• Maintain organized battery rotation system
