Life can change dramatically for a visually impaired veteran when hopping in the car and travelling from A to B can no longer be possible. Something so simple — and something many of us don’t think twice about — suddenly becomes a real barrier, affecting independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

That’s where you come in. As a volunteer driver, you make an enormous difference by helping someone regain a little bit of that independence. Whether it’s getting to a social event, an important appointment, a trip into the community or even a day out somewhere special, you’ll be opening doors that might otherwise stay closed. This role supports veterans to attend a social group once a month on a Thursday morning in Houghton Regis. Can you make the difference?
