Job Description

Salary: £39,835.85 per annum + Veolia benefits £5.00 Daily meal allowance. Single person allowance paid by bins lifted on route. Location: Beighton, S20 1AH.

Hours

Average of 48 hours across a 26‑week period. Sunday to Thursday starting at 4am (Sunday on RORO and Monday to Thursday FEL) OR Tuesday to Saturday starting at 4am (RORO).

Responsibilities

  • Driving and carrying out collections following Veolia procedures.
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle and recording defects as required.
  • Ensuring all daily logs are kept up to date.
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation.
  • Following all Veolia H&S Policies and procedures.
  • Lifting bins of all weights and sizes.

Qualifications

  • Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
  • Up to date CPC / Digi card.
  • A can‑do attitude and strong time‑management skills.
  • Experience with Skips / RORO.
