Under the general supervision of Transport Officer, the Driver is responsible for driving departmental staff on official trips, collecting and delivering official materials, providing basic maintenance to the vehicles, and reporting all servicing requirements to ensure road worthiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide driving services to Departmental staff on official matters as required.
• Collect and deliver official materials as may be required.
• Check safety of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness on a daily basis.
• Update logbook of vehicle use daily for proper recording of mileage.
• Report periodic servicing needs to the Transport Officer in advance to ensure proper handling of the vehicle.
• Wash the vehicle inside and outside daily to maintain cleanliness.
