In this position, you will execute blasting operations according to detailed plans while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities include inspecting both the workspace and equipment, transporting explosives, and unblocking blast holes as needed. Attention to detail and safety are crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle, transport, and store explosives securely
• Inspect the work area both at the beginning and end of shifts
• Complete all relevant equipment inspection documentation
• Interpret and execute blasting plans accurately
• Unblock blast holes as necessary using compressed air hoses
