Driller

The Driller position is a field-based position that reports directly to Director, Operations. The position will be based out of Kitchener, Ontario with travel throughout the province expected.

Role Purpose

Operation of Drilling Equipment

• Operation of geo-tech and environmental drilling equipment
• Operate direct push drilling equipment for the purpose of giving the client quality and efficient results.
• Installation of monitoring or groundwater extraction wells in accordance with Reg 903
• Operate hand drilling equipment including restricted access equipment for the purpose of retrieving soil samples or installing wells. This work includes working in restricted areas such as residential basements with heavy lifting.

Safety

• Ensure all GIP safety policies and procedures, as well as Provincial/Federal Acts are followed.
