Dredging Technical Manager

The Technical Superintendent is responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective technical management of dredgers and associated marine assests. This includes maintenance planning, compliance and statutory regulations and ensuring optimal vessel performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure equipment Reliability by maintaining propulsion systems, dredge pumps, hydraulic systems etc. in optimal condition.
• To ensure Compliance & Regulatory Requirements of ISM Code, MARPOL, class, and flag state regulations.
• Balancing preventive maintenance with operational schedules to avoid downtime.
• Managing unexpected breakdowns during critical dredging operations.
• Spare Parts & Inventory Management.
• To ensure availability of critical spares for specialized dredging equipment
• Controlling repair and maintenance costs within approved budgets.
