Draughtsman - Mechanical and/or Structural

Minimum requirements: Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Structural Drafting (Verification Required). 3-5 years of experience in drafting within the crane or structural steel industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. Strong understanding of mechanical and structural drafting principles. Familiarity with the South African Steel Construction Handbook. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards. Experience in supplier sourcing and procurement processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills for liaising with teams and suppliers. Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for cranes, hoists, and structural components. Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly diagrams.
