Job Description
GetFix Ltd id looking for a skilled and reliable Domestic Gas & Oil Engineer to carry out responsive repairs, fault finding, servicing, and minor installations across domestic properties. This is a field-based role suited to an engineer who is confident working independently and comfortable dealing with customers in residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend emergency call-outs and perform diagnostics and repairs on domestic gas and oil-fired appliances (primarily boilers, fires, and heating systems).
* Carry out annual servicing, landlord safety checks (CP12), and system maintenance.
* Diagnose and resolve heating and hot water issues quickly and effectively.
* Undertake minor installation works, including boiler swaps, pipework, and flue replacements.
* Complete all required documentation including service reports, risk assessments, and Gas Safe certificates via mobile app or paper-based systems.
