Domestic Claims Consultant

Well established Short Term Insurance Brokerage / Financial Institution situated in DURBAN has a vacancy for a DOMESTIC CLAIMS HANDLER to join their Personal Lines Division. The successful Applicant would need to have experience in all aspects of Domestic Claims. Description of Role: To provide clients with an efficient and effective claims service and support in respect of their claims. Key Responsibilities:

• The registration and maintenance of all motor and non-motor claims on existing policies;
• Handling all claims until finality and within Admin mandates;
• Ongoing communication with Brokers and Client Liaison teams telephonically and via e-mail, in respect of the status of their claims;
• Limited client liaison and assistance with queries; and
• Recoveries and Third Party approaches.

• Full qualification at NQF Level 4.
