Job Description

The On-the-Job Trainee (OJT) Document Control Assistant provides administrative and technical support to the Document Controller in maintaining the companys filing systems, archives, and documentation processes. The role involves assisting in the organization, classification, and management of both hard and digital copies of records to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Document Controller in scanning, sorting, arranging, classifying, printing and filing hard copies of documents in the companys archive.
  • Maintain company files, archives, records, and documentation in an organized and easily retrievable manner.
  • Help manage access and integrity of master documents stored within the document control system.
  • Ensure system security by observing proper protocols for managing pull out documents by recording them or creating transmittals when releasing the documents requested.
