Job Description
The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely distribution of documents to relevant teams. This role supports the project by controlling drawings, submissions, correspondence, and records in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Document Management & Control
- Maintain a systematic filing system (softcopy & hardcopy) for all project documentation.
- Control issuance, receipt, revision, and distribution of drawings, specifications, method statements, RFIs, material submissions, and approvals.
- Ensure all documents are properly numbered, tracked, and logged.
- Keep updated records of latest revisions, superseded drawings, and consultant instructions.
