Job Summary
The Document Controller is responsible for the efficient preparation, management, control, and archiving of company documents and records. The role ensures that all documents are accurate, up to date, properly distributed, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, and maintain physical and electronic documents and records
- Control document numbering, versioning, and revision history
- Receive, log, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing documents
- Ensure documents are approved, reviewed, and issued on time
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Coordinate with project teams, engineers, contractors, and management
- Prepare reports on document status and tracking logs
