Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Document Control & Management
Maintain and administer the Document Control System (DCS) for procedures, work instructions, specifications, forms, and records.
Ensure version control, proper formatting, numbering, approval routing, and document lifecycle management.
Prevent the use of obsolete or superseded documents in production, engineering, and quality areas.
Control both electronic and hard-copy documents across manufacturing, engineering, and support functions.
2. Manufacturing & Quality Support
Ensure manufacturing work instructions (WI), SOPs, control plans, and specifications are current and accessible at the shop floor.
Support change management (ECN/ECR) by coordinating document updates tied to process, equipment, or product changes.
Collaborate with Process Engineering, Quality, Production, and Support Groups to implement timely document revisions.
