Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Doctoral Researcher to join the Bioinspired Materials and Robotics group at Tampere University. The position is full-time for 3 years, located at Hervanta Campus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and model microfluidic channel networks.
  • Create CAD tools.
  • Participate in device fabrication and testing.
  • Pursue a doctoral degree in the Doctoral Programme in Medicine, Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering, focusing on developing microfluidic sensor technologies for soft robotics.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering or related fields.
  • Expertise in microfabrication and 3D printing.
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics and microfluidic modeling.
  • Programming skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Motivation to pursue doctoral studies.
