The Many-Body Theory group works in the field of many-body physics and the computational study of solid state. Using our expertise in many-body theory, we study various phenomena in solids, including the quantum nuclear effect on the electronic structure of solids. Our computational studies are made possible by the strong research infrastructure of Tampere University and CSC IT Center for Science. For these efforts, we are now looking for a talented doctoral researcher who is motivated to work on high-level fundamental research. 

Job description

The Many-Body Theory group is looking for a doctoral researcher to work on the computational study of quantum nuclear effects in solids. The project is well-funded as part of the Theory Program of the Helsinki Institute of Physics.
