DOCSIS Test Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will be responsible for:

•  Develop and execute test plans to validate features and functionality for ultra-speed residential and enterprise connectivity services.
  
• Work with the Network Design team to review and contribute to high-level and low-level designs
  
• Validate CMTS configurations.
  
• Capture and analyze CMTS logs, CM diagnostics, and network traces (Wireshark/tcpdump).
  
• Prepare test plans, test topologies and perform functional and non-functional testing for new hardware and software within a lab environment
  
• Run stress, soak, and scalability tests.
  
• Record bugs and defects and work with stakeholders and vendors for resolution ensuring no impact to  customers
