OFFICE BASED...THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION and MUST HAVE HEALTHCARE AND DME EXPERIENCE! This position will be primarily responsible for operations of our virtual DME company based in Mobile. Experience with equipment orders, inventory, customer service and knowledge of DME regulations and billing are required. Duties - Review and verify medical billing information for accuracy and completeness - Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies - Follow up on unpaid or denied claims - Resolve billing discrepancies and issues - Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries and disputes - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Stay up-to-date with changes in medical billing codes and regulations
