Django Template & Front-End Refactor – New Design Implementation
We have new designs ready and need an experienced front-end developer to refactor our existing Django templates to match them. This isn't a greenfield build the app is live and the templates exist so you'll need to work methodically, implementing the new UI without breaking existing functionality.
What you'll be doing:
Implementing new designs into existing Django templates (HTML + Django template language)
Refactoring and consolidating CSS to align with the new design system removing old styles, enforcing consistency
Improving template structure and component reusability along the way
Delivering clean, atomic Git commits so progress is easy to review at every step
What we're looking for:
Strong Django templating experience template inheritance, includes, and context
Solid CSS skills: Flexbox, Grid, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility
Ability to translate designs (Figma/Zeplin/etc....
