Permanent role, 24 hours per week, predominantly based in Hamilton. The position covers both rural and urban bases within the Hamilton & Rural Family Health team.

About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a registered nurse to join our District Nursing Service.
The district nurse role includes advanced assessment, management, support and education for wound management, compression therapy, IV management, palliative/end‑of‑life care in the rural setting, continence assessment, catheter management, ostomy management, assessment for acute personal care and home help, support with home oxygen / respiratory patients, rheumatic fever secondary prevention prophylaxis and liaison/referrals with other health professionals.
