Job Description
We are seeking experienced Distribution Engineers to join our team in Florida. This role involves supporting power distribution infrastructure upgrades and storm hardening projects across the state. The projects include work for major utilities such as Duke Energy, FP&L, and TECO. Engineers will be involved in calculations and designs for replacing deteriorating cables, moving overhead lines underground, reconductoring existing lines, and replacing aging poles.
Responsibilities
+ Perform engineering calculations and design for power distribution projects.
+ Conduct structural analysis of poles and guying.
+ Calculate cable pulling, electric demand, and fault currents.
+ Coordinate protective systems.
+ Support the replacement and upgrading of power distribution infrastructure.
