Our client is seeking a seasoned Electrical Distribution Engineer or Designer to lead the modeling and design of overhead power lines, including joint‑use attachments. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and constructability of all designs, calculations, and estimates for utility projects of various sizes. The primary scope of work includes overseeing pole replacement programs and supervising underground and overhead cable sizing and pulling for distribution projects across Calgary. This individual will mentor junior team members, provide technical oversight, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality design packages. They will also address design-related issues and field questions during project execution and collaborate closely with project management to ensure projects are completed profitably and on schedule.
