Job Description
JDass Corp. is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will coordinate freight movement, support drivers, ensure compliance with Canadian regulations, and maintain strong communication with customers and partners. This is a key operational role in our growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Load Planning & Coordination
- Assign loads to drivers based on availability, HOS regulations, and equipment type.
- Plan and optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with shippers and receivers.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure drivers comply with Transport Canada regulations, including:
- Hours of Service (HOS)
- ELD requirements
- Weight and dimension limits
- Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations (if applicable)
