Dispatcher - 2nd Shift

Summary/Objective:

• The second shift Dispatcher will help finalize the AM Shift and kick off and finalize the PM Shift.


• The Dispatcher will be responsible for using the latest TMS (Trinium / Wisetech Global) to establish daily LMC updates and follow up with the LMC to fulfill the order/job.
• The successful candidate for this position needs to adjust to last-minute changes and work with the LMC pool and allocate drivers to all open orders to avoid mis-opportunities or service failures.

Essential Functions:

• Follow up with LMCs from previous shift and make sure that they execute / fulfil assignments.


• Collaborate with management, communicate terminal conditions, changes, closures and day-to-day productivity.
• Monitor driver activities – (via Trinium) making sure that assignments are updated in real time and interchanges, PODs and paperwork is scanned into TMS via their LMC application.
