This position anticipates and responds to customers' needs, requests, and issues and interfaces with other departments. They assist in evaluating the selection of carriers and planning the handling of exceptions and service recovery (e.g., in the event of late loads, etc.) to ensure effectiveness, to maintain customer satisfaction, and to manage costs. This position performs other tasks as requested.
Responsibilities
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk‑in customers and telephone inquiries.
- Takes ownership of customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
- Operates all equipment, software, and devices and trains others.
