JOB SUMMARY
The Dispatch Coordinator is a key position holding the function of facilitating the outbound customer delivery activities particularly orchestrating pre-trip inspection, truck positioning, loading and departure.
The main role is to handle all pre-trip requirements including delivery paper works, trip cash allowances, petty cash liquidations, and to resolve all issues during truck positioning, loading, and departure. The role also includes delivery status monitoring and coordination with logistics and sales to resolve issues during delivery.
DISPATCH COORDINATOR FUNCTION
- Ensure on-time truck and crew availability
- Facilitate pre-trip inspection of trucks
- Prepare all delivery paper works/documents
- Facilitate truck queuing during loading activity
- Issue trip cash allowances
