Job Title: Dispatcher

Department: Operations

Reports To: Operations Manager / Director of Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in cooperation and provide support to the drivers and owner operators.
• Conduct all administrative duties in a professional manner.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of information to and from trucks.
• Assist drivers with route planning and loading/unloading concerns.
• Keep sales and operations up to date on movement of trucks and any special requirements.
• Ensure that drivers are compliant with federal logbook regulations.
• Communicate with Safety Manager regarding incident information.
• Complete non-conformance reporting, bringing driver issues to attention.
• Coordinate with dock/warehouse staff to plan, schedule and optimize LTL shipments to ensure efficient flow of freight, accurate loading and on‑time delivery.
