Specific Accountabilities
Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, below are some key accountabilities:
Fill and drain the dishwasher during the shiftSort dirty dishes, cutlery, glassware by type and load into the machine Prepare pots and pans for loading into dishwasherUnload clean dishes and kitchenware and store in designated areas in the kitchen and servery areasFollow a weekly schedule of cleaning, soaking, and polishing duties as determined by the Chief StewardClean, polish and prepare banquet equipment for special eventsClean dishwasher after each meal period by emptying water tanks, discarding all garbage collected in the tanks, spraying any residue of the inside of the machine and polishing the outside of the machine including the unloading end of the dishwasherClean walls, ceilings and floors in the dish-room and garbage room, including garbage bins according to daily and weekly cleaning ...
