Discrete Mathematics

DutiesGeneral duties include teaching tutorials, holding office hours, grading quizzes/tests/exams and homework assignments. Since the duties involve extensive contact hours withbeginner learners, skills such as patience in teaching computer science basics, demonstrated friendliness towards the students, and a generally positive attitude are great assets. Duties of this position shall be performed at the campus on which the position is located. Must be available on campus at least two days per week during regular business hours. Must be available to attend a (paid) 1-hour weekly in-person TA meeting. Minimum Qualifications Previous experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this position. Demonstrated knowledge of CSCA67/CSCB36/CSCB63 or MATA67/MATB24/MATB42 material. Excellent communication skills and keen interest in teaching beginners.
