POSITION: Long-Term Substitute, Discovery Elementary


REPORTS TO: Building Principal


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The individual in this position must be approved to sub through EduStaff.

  • Valid State of Michigan teaching certificate preferred.

    • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Successful preparation for and attainment of student achievement through effective instructional practices

  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with students of all ability levels to meet their academic, behavioral, and emotional needs; proven ability to communicate with parents and other educators

  • Strong interpersonal skills with students

  • Ability to foster a classroom culture that is engaging, student-focused, and effectively managed.

  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
