Disability Support Worker - Stanthorpe

As a Disability Support Worker, working within our Supported Independent Living homes, you’ll provide person-centred support that empowers people with disability to build independence, confidence and connection. You’ll be part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about the people we support.

We currently Casual roles available based in our Stanthorpe area for Residential SIL Homes with Sleepover and weekends shifts required.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting people with daily living activities, personal care and routines
• Assisting clients with manual handling using hoists and slings
• Encouraging independence, choice and inclusion
• Supporting community access, social activities and wellbeing
• Building trusted relationships with clients, families and colleagues
• Maintaining safe, respectful and positive environments
