Job Overview

The Director, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is responsible for leading network-wide volume forecasting, labor planning, and operational readiness across Macy’s Supply Chain. This role ensures that weekly facility-level forecasts are accurate, actionable, and aligned with enterprise expectations, enabling facilities to plan effectively and the network to remain balanced and customer-ready.

This role owns and drives a true process that creates one aligned, trusted end‑to‑end plan — connecting demand signals, supply and transportation constraints, labor models, and facility‑level execution. The Director, S&OP ensures that all cross‑functional partners are operating from the same set of assumptions, trade‑offs, and decisions, with clear accountability from enterprise plans through floor execution.
