Responsibilities

1.Planning and Managing Operations:


  • To plan, organize, and provide managerial direction and oversight and to participate in the activities and functions of the assigned logistics business sectors, which includes developing overall goals and objectives; developing, implementing and enforcing policies, procedures and standards.

  • To make directional and high-level managerial decisions and recommendations in order to achieve business and financial results, therefore preventing loss of partnerships and eliminating the risk of sizeable expenditures of time, human resources and/or funds.

  • Fostering cooperative working relationships with teams and customers both externally and within the public sector

  • To provide expert professional logistics assistance to the Sector Head in areas of expertise.

  • Plan and manage operational budgets effectively and efficiently.
