Position Overview

Department Led Capital Projects (DLCP), which is administratively housed within Shared Health, delivers major healthcare infrastructure projects across the Province of Manitoba. In 2024, DLCP was authorized to deliver a new second Cancer Care building to be located on the Health Sciences Centre Campus adjacent and connected to the existing McCharles building and will provide

  • Additional capacity to expand treatments spaces
  • Incorporation of new treatments
  • Flexibility in design to accommodate ever-changing treatment and research needs
  • Unification and co-location of screening programs
  • Increased sustainability offered by incorporating new models of care
  • Collaborative partnerships with academic institutions and industry partners
  • Advancements in Research and Innovation
