Description of Job Function 1. Directs and provides oversight of the maintenance department, including hiring and supervision of staff and budget management. Ensures physical plant and facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and secure condition in accordance with safety and health requirements, as well as applicable college, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations and procedures. Description of Job Function 2. Guides, evaluates, and delegates work to assigned staff. Completes annual performance development process with employees according to college policy and the prescribed timeline. Supports program improvements and encourages professional development and growth of the team’s skills and performance.
