Director – LifeAsia / AS400 Core Systems

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced IT leader for an insurance company to oversee the LifeAsia AS400 core system, a mission-critical platform supporting life insurance operations. The Director – LifeAsia / AS400 will ensure the system is stable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives, while driving modernization, optimization, and innovation initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AS400/IBM iSeries platforms, preferably with LifeAsia or similar life insurance systems.
• Strong leadership experience managing large, complex technical teams.
• Deep understanding of COBOL/400, DB2, CL/400, SQL, and SMART/400 development.
• Knowledge of life insurance business processes: policy administration, billing, claims, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
