Drive digital integration in construction as an IDD Coordinator with Aecon. This role focuses on BIM technology application, CAD production, and project support across disciplines.
The IDD Coordinator will report directly to the IDD Director and collaborate with the team to enable digital construction processes. You will play a crucial part across various project aspects, including design, estimating, planning, and construction, while ensuring effective document production. The role encompasses CAD and 3D modeling support, clash detection, and managing the common data environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support document production for IDD project execution
• Assist in CAD production and 3D modeling tasks
• Conduct 3D model federation and clash detection
• Manage quantity takeoffs and model audits for estimating
• Develop BIM execution plans with project teams
Requirements:
• University degree or diploma in relevant fields
• 2-3 years of BIM/CAD experience...
