Who we're looking for:
What you'll be doing:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (trade tested essential)
- Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience on TMM (Trackless Mobile Machinery)
- Experience on GHH Mining Machines advantageous
- Valid driver's licence
- Willingness and ability to travel
What you'll be doing:
- Performing planned maintenance (services and improvements) on GHH Mining Machines
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, transmissions, and drivetrains
- Conducting vehicle inspections and recording findings on inspection reports
- Assisting with breakdown maintenance on surface when required
- Proactively arranging and requesting spares to minimise downtime
- Performing welding and fabrication as needed
