Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years' experience as an Assistant Diesel Mechanic, within the mining industry.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and mechanical components.
- Exposure to servicing and repairing heavy mining equipment will be advantageous.
- Medically fit to work on a mine site.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime and standby when required.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
- Assist Diesel Mechanics with servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy mining and earthmoving equipment.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of diesel-powered machinery.
- Support fault finding and diagnostics on diesel engines, hydraulic systems and mechanical components.
