About the role


As a Diesel Fitter at Ernest Henry, you’ll be part of the Mobile Maintenance team, keeping a diverse fleet of underground and surface equipment running safely and reliably.


You’ll work across both planned and breakdown maintenance, taking ownership in the field and playing a key role in maximising plant availability and performance. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Maintaining, repairing and servicing mobile equipment across underground and surface operations

  • Diagnosing faults and completing breakdown repairs across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems

  • Completing component change-outs and ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard

  • Recording maintenance activities in the CMMS and supporting effective work management

  • Identifying risks and applying strong safety practices in all tasks
