Diamond Driller Assistant

Major Drilling Group International Inc. is hiring for a Diamond Driller Assistant starting June 13, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driller with all rod tripping operations.
• Ensure necessary equipment is clean, serviceable, and readily available when required, including inner tube/hammer assemblies.
• Empty sample into core trays/sample bags.
• Ensure samples are clean, well-presented and correctly marked.
• Monitor fuel status and maintain fuel/oil level requirements of the drilling rig and associated ancillary equipment, including water pumps, heaters, and lighting plants.
• Ensure adequate and correct grades of lubricating compounds are always available at the rig.
• Consistently pursue performance and high‑quality work by executing tasks effectively in a manner that will not endanger self or others, or the environment.
