Diagnostic Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex electronic and vehicle system faults as directed by the Service Advisor and, when required, in the presence of the customer.
• Ensure customer complaints are accurately diagnosed, rectified, and documented, providing complete quotations and technical comments to the Service Advisor.
• Continuously update technical knowledge through formal training programs and self-learning initiatives to remain current with evolving automotive technologies.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections using VDS testers and other diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
• Review complete vehicle history, service records, and related documentation to support accurate diagnosis and repair procedures.
• Coordinate with Parts Advisors, Team Leaders, and Workshop Controllers to ensure the correct parts are ordered and available.
