Summary The Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) at the GS-9 level serves in an advanced developmental capacity beyond the DRT full performance level. The incumbent performs in the role of a multimodality technologist with a substantially full range of duties in Interventional Procedures, Vascular-Interventional procedures, general radiology, and Interventional CT procedures. Responsibilities Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The DRT (IR) primary responsibility is to perform radiographic duties in the Interventional Radiology (IR) specialty modality and interventional procedures in CT. This specialty requires knowledge of Vascular, organ human anatomy and its application in Angiographic, Robotic 3d angiography, inclusive of 3-D CT based reconstruction rotational angiograms, including drainages, biopsies, hybrid scrub support duties and peripheral vascular examinations.
