Diagnostic Imaging Assistant - Diagnostic Imaging

Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Diagnostic Services, the Diagnostic Imaging Assistant support and facilitates the imaging of inpatients, Emergency Room patients, and outpatients in collaboration with the imaging technologist. The DI Assistant role spans across all modalities and requires excellent daily communication and collaboration with patients, medical imaging technologists, clerical team members, nurses and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable to the policies and procedures, goals, and objectives of the hospital and the Diagnostic Imaging Department. 

• Follow the mission and vision of the hospital in his/her relationships with patients, team members and the general public.

• Document and submit incident reports as required according to the requirements of the quality management system.
