DFX Supervisor

The Digital Effects (DFX) Supervisor oversees all VFX departments on a project to ensure the highest quality of work, artistic cohesion, and clear communication. They work closely with the VFX, CG, and Department Supervisors, artists, and production to ensure milestones and deadlines are met as well oversee the day-to-day of the show supervision team.

Key Responsibilities

Delivers creative and technical realization to the VFX Supervisor and ensures cohesion

Supports the use of consistent, global department workflows and processes as well as design more effective workflows

Provides concise and constructive feedback and ensuring the Artists are directed to reach milestones and show targets

Delivers highest quality work out of dailies to the VFX Supervisor and builds strategies to improve operational efficiency on an ongoing basis

Ensures milestones and deadlines are met

Communicates with all departments to manage dependencies...
