DevOps Engineer (Level 3) – Isando (Gauteng)

Our client based in Isando is looking for a DevOps Engineer with at least 8+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or systems engineering roles, coupled with a NQF Level 7 qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and Advanced certifications in DevOps or Cloud.

Purpose of the Role

The DevOps Engineer Level 3 is a senior technical role, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise‑scale DevOps practices. The role leads automation, CI/CD strategy, infrastructure modernisation, and cloud‑native adoption. It is accountable for ensuring platforms are secure, reliable, and aligned with business transformation objectives. The position operates across RUN, GROW, and TRANSFORM initiatives with significant responsibility for innovation, technical leadership, and mentoring junior DevOps Engineers.
