DevOps Engineer (Java)

Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a leading organization within the technology industry. The DevOps Engineer role is ideal for an engineer with strong DevOps expertise who also brings prior Java development experience. This position will focus on modern infrastructure, automation, containerization, and GitOps‑driven delivery practices.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:

• Build, enhance, and maintain DevOps pipelines and deployment workflows using Git, pipelines, Helm, and ArgoCD.

• Support and optimize Linux‑based infrastructure, including Tomcat application servers and containerized environments.

• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

• Develop infrastructure‑as‑code and automation solutions utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, and AI‑driven tooling.
